I have worked with sexually violent predators and offenders in the community for years and earned independent certification with California’s Sex Offender Management Board. I have decided that moving forward, I would like to transition and focus fully on prevention by prioritizing awareness of the sex offense cycle, grooming practices, and directly for the families and parents in my community. My plan is to facilitate an affordable group focusing on the dynamics of sexual offending and how the roles of parent and guardian can be asserted to keep kids and families safe.

Drawing on my lived experience working in institutions for 10+ years and time spent with predators and offenders, I know that victimization is difficult to fully prevent and that 100% prevention is an over idealized goal at best. However, you can assert yourself and be the most inconvenient victim possible. I stand on this point in which group will aim at education, awareness, practical assertive skills, and insight that can be utilized by adult, parent, and family.

In the meantime, I am offering this group as a 90 minute workshop solely for parents at this time.
