Inconvenient Victims - The Group

I have worked with sexually violent predators and sexual offenders in the community and earned independent certification with California’s Sex Offender Management Board. I decided that moving forward, I would like to transition and focus fully on prevention by prioritizing awareness of the sex offense cycle, grooming practices, and directly for the benefit of families, parents, and survivors in my community. I offer an affordable group focusing on the dynamics of sexual offending and how the roles of parent and guardian can be asserted to keep kids and families safe.

Drawing from my lived experience working in institutions for 10+ years and time spent with predators and offenders, I clearly understand that victimization is difficult to fully prevent and that 100% prevention is an over idealized goal at best. However, you can assert yourself and carry yourself as the most inconvenient victim possible. Group aims at offering an education of the sexual offense cycle, awareness of the grooming process, practical assertive skills related to key points in this cycle, and insight that is specific to the needs of parent, young adult, survivor, and professional. Most of all, I wanted to provide something digestible, validating, and approachable to those impacted by extreme boundary violations.

When no one talks about a problem, the problem gets bigger.
